i had a spot of melanoma removed last year but i am still worried about sun exposure and such. suppose to deploy in october.

what are the chances of it coming back,its been 3 months now and she seems to be fine?

My uncle just found out he has lung cancer. His job has let him go and they are taking his insurance from him. Worse yet, he will have made too much money this last year to get medicare. Disability will take way to long to get. Soon he will need help with treatment and medication costs. I just was hoping someone might have some suggestions of organizations that might be able to help us. I and my family would appreciate any help anyone can give.

Two weeks ago i went to the doctor to get a mole removed off my back, she said it had all for characteristics of being melanoma. I am still waiting for the results to come back, but what are they chance that it really is melanoma??

And what is the treatment for Colon Polyp? I understand there is no surgery or medication required for colon polyp, what’s the method used to remove colon polyp?? Is it painful??

my step dad has melanoma and is having interferon treatment. He was admitted to the ICU early this morning with severe muscle pain and weakness, kidney failure, liver problems, signs of dehydration even though he isnt dehydrated, and extremely low BP. he is normally on high BP medication which has been stopped. They are telling us that there is a rare side effect where the muscles start eating away at themselves but they cant give us any reason for the rest of the symptoms. anyone have any anwsers?

My niece has stage 4 Melanoma.. Her doctor at University Hospital has basically given up on her. As far as we know it is not in her organs. Does anyone know of a clinical trial with any success?

i think my husband might have colon cancer. he complains that he feels like he has go to the bathroom but doesnt need to, throws up every night, tired/weak, stomach hurts alot and little blood in toilet. could that be what it is or something else?

I had a Level 2 Malignant Melanoma removed in Nov 07, in my right calf, and was diagnosed with a blood clot (DVT) in my left calf at the end of Jan 08. Im only 23, and not sure if there is any link between the two?

I was just denied life insurance coverage due to a health history of malignant melanoma = 10 years ago, 2 squamous cell carcinoma’s = 5 years ago, and 3 displastic nevi removed 6 months ago by my dermatologist. I get skin exams whenever I see anything suspicious. I take all the necessary precasions. I am almost 45 years old; fair complected, and a female.
