what is my risk of having melanoma if i’m young and healthy?

Being young and healthy is in your favor, however; it depends on the variables. If you are very fair skinned, blonde or red haired with very light colored eyes usually indicates that you are more at risk for Melanoma and you must protect yourself every day with a high SPF sunscreen every day even if you are just going to the mailbox and even on cloudy days. But don’t worry yet. The doctors always biopsy any mole they remove. I have had several moles removes and am fair skinned and blue eyed and none of them have been Melanoma. Just don’t take any chances in the future. Good luck and take good care of your skin!
